The Future of Premier Hax

Hi all,

Due to the decline in activity on Premier Hax over the last few seasons, we have been in multiple discussions over how to increase activity and grow the community. We are about to have somewhat of a 'revamp'!

• All teams are henceforth disbanded, existing captains will need to re-apply for their positions. We are looking for 8 active captains who will build competitive teams and who can contribute something to the community.
  
  
• The draft is scrapped.
  
  
• Signings will need to be made during the all-new transfer window. The transfer window will close at 19:00 BST/GMT on Matchday ONE. It will then re-open the day after Matchday SEVEN, and close again at 19:00 BST/GMT on Matchday NINE. It will remain closed until the conclusion of the season (after the play-offs). Cuts can be made at any time.
  
  
• We're looking into a brand new league/stats system (where the results are displayed, etc), keep an eye out for this.
  

Further information will be announced in the coming days. For now, all you need to know is that Captain Applications are open effective immediately(here), and will remain open until 20:00 BST on the 28th September. You do not need to post your roster or players you plan to sign, you will have 2 weeks to build your team before the season starts.

and yeah guess the leagues dead with a draft, but is it really worth running without one? point of the league is to connect to the pubs and that and i find it hard to see how thats going to happen anymore, which is sad

that hasn't happened for months anyway so we aren't giving up anything in that regard
